TMI AU . “A Lady & A Tramp” (Roaring Twenties AU) (linked to this)

"The Institute" is one of the number one spots if you are looking for a good night with booze in NYC - because who cares about Prohibition? Robert Lightwood was the manager of "The Institute" but due to certain circumstances - a bullet in his head - the management falls into the hands of his children. And so Isabelle, Alexander & Jonathan meet the people of the their very own speakeasy. (It’s not that they weren’t involved the entire time, they got the booze after all, but they never have been to the place itself - until now.)
There they meet the funny Jewish boy Simon Lewis and the smart and impulsive book keeper Clary Fray. The strong but calm bouncer Jordan Kyle and the out-going and cheecky black singer Maia Roberts. Not to forget the guy that charms beauties (men and women) into the speakeasy every night and who knows absolutely everything - while being the doctor for the bar - Magnus Bane. (Because, somehow there are enough shootings to need a doctor and who has enough influence to keep the bulls away.)

Of course, next to running the place, the to-do-list includes staying put, alive, and undercover and most importantly: Who shot the old Lightwood?

i'm not like you guys. i don't have claws or super senses. i just have  v o i c e s  in my head.
